An user perception may be any function or feature experienced troublesome by an user.<\/p>\n

Users are asked to send a short description of a detected perception to the persons in charge. They\u00a0analyze it and draw corresponding reply and insert a new perception\/reply -pair on the Instructions-page. Perceptions are viewed as questions on the page. A reply related a a perception is opened by clicking left ear of a mouse on the question.<\/p>\n

Q: Updating a family table?<\/a><\/h2>

A: The WP is used for updating the family table. User moves to WP by\u00a0pressing\u00a0 [Joutsiniemi]<\/strong> button on the top left of a\u00a0family page. On the left side of WP\u00a0front\u00a0page\u00a0is the main menu. From the menu user selects\u00a0[Pages]<\/strong> option. As ar\u00a0result of the selection\u00a0is a list of user -owned pages (typically only own page). User moves the cursor on the name of desired page and presses the left ear of the mouse which opens\u00a0the selected family table in to-be-updated mode.<\/p>\n

The family table\u00a0information is presented in a standard format, which consists of three (3) sections 1 )\u00a0title, 2 ) additional informatio and 3) database fields. Here they are presented in more detail.<\/p>\n

1) Title<\/strong> of a\u00a0family table is in top of the form. If user wants to update the name, he\/she simply writes a changes directly in the title field, however, with the same writing format as other tables (LAST NAME 1.First name\u00a02.First name). Name in the title\u00a0field\u00a0is used in the family hierarchy (tree). The same changes must be made both in\u00a0the Finnish\u00a0and English\u00a0title field.<\/p>\n

2) Information in the Additional data field\u00a0can be freely udated by the table owner.\u00a0Text entry in the field resembles use of a word processing. At the top of the Additional data field\u00a0is a row of buttons to highlight the text. Above the Additional data field is [Add Media]<\/strong> button which is\u00a0used to insert\u00a0images (Instruction to\u00a0insert images is given in relation to another\u00a0question). In addition, above the field are alternative buttons for text insertion\u00a0both in Finnish and English. It is intended that the information is supplied\u00a0both languages, but translation can be done also later.<\/p>\n

In the bottom right of the page is\u00a0the Page Setup dialog box.\u00a0From the\u00a0drop list opened with [Top view]<\/strong> button user selects\u00a0either\u00a0owner's father's or mother's name. The choice of a name defines\u00a0location of the table\u00a0in family hierarchy (tree). [Family member]<\/strong> form\u00a0is the right\u00a0choice from the Template<\/strong> list.\u00a0 Number in the Order<\/strong> selection list defines\u00a0age order\u00a0of siblings. The oldest sibling number is zero (0) and number of second oldest\u00a0sibling is 1 and next one is 2 etc. If the page is now completed and the user does not need to update the database information (see bellow), press the [Update]<\/strong> button, which saves made changes in ths system.<\/p>\n

3 ) The family table data stored in the\u00a0database\u00a0locate after\u00a0the Additional information filed and consists of several pages. Database information updating is started by pressing\u00a0[Edit]<\/strong> button. This\u00a0results\u00a0opening of data\u00a0into\u00a0several separate data specific fields. All the data can be freely updated. Fields, for\u00a0which no information exist are left empty.<\/p>\n

Once the data has been updated pressing the [Store]<\/strong> button in the low end of the page\u00a0 results\u00a0database\u00a0updates and closing of the fields. When all needed family table data has been updated, press the [Update]<\/strong> button, at which stage the systemfinalizes all the updates<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
