Our dear family member Matti Aakkula died at the age of 66 with severe, short-term
disease Kangasalla March 8th 2015. He was born in Helsinki June 5th 1948.
After graduating middle school in 1967 he performed military service and went to Ahlman Farm school. He farmed Village-Aakkula during 1960-1970 and at the same time worked at Sallinen Carrier Services in 1972-1978. Later he had his own company until returning to Tampere in 1996.
After his mothers Laila's death Matti moved to Tampere, and lived there until his death. He worked at Humalamäki Carrier Services and helped many acquaintances in village of Keso. His hobbies were aviation, automobiles, and hunting. During his latest years he was also a member of a nice group of men which met regularly in Huutijärvellä. Matti was always friendly and helpful, good sense of humor and cheerful. He seemed to be happy with his life.
